Texas Commercial Airports Association (TCAA) supports public policies that promote the growth of efficient, safe, and secure operations of Texas commercial airports, in order to advance air service development, travel and tourism, and economic benefits for the public and the communities we serve.

There are currently 25 commercial passenger airports in the State of Texas, which link the state to the national and global economies. Texas airports are part of a national and international system that enables air passenger and cargo services to occur in a manner that balances safety and security with convenience and efficiency. Commercial aviation activities and related spending boosts statewide economic activity by $84.9 billion and supports more than 730,866 jobs across the state.

Commercial airports in Texas are vital partners with economic development and convention/tourism stakeholders in our communities. TCAA works closely with municipalities and other stakeholders to advance public policies that enable increased growth in air service, lower costs for airline and aviation stakeholders, and create a competitive advantage for Texas in the global competition for air service. TCAA works to educate and collaborate with policymakers on the complex, multi-stakeholder environment that enables commercial aviation to operate in our state, and the impact of state policies on the airport environment.
