WHAT IS TCAA?

The Texas Commercial Airports Association (TCAA) supports the advocacy and education needs of Texas' commercial airports and is open to the 25 current commercial passenger airports operating in the state.

Why was TCAA formed?

TCAA was formed to collaborate on airport issues which will support new economic development and benefit travelers to and within the state.

Why are Airports important to Texas?

TCAA member airports serve more than 80 million passengers annually and support more than 730,866 full-time jobs, producing $84.9 billion in annual economic output.*Texas Aviation Economic Impact Study, TxDOT 2018

Who leads the organization?

TCAA's Executive Director is Daniel Decker.

TCAA is governed by an elected board with the following directors designated as the TCAA leadership:

  • Board Chair: Mark Duebner, Director of Aviation, Dallas Love Field Airport
  • Vice Chair: John Ackerman, Executive Vice President, Global Strategy & Development, DFW International Airport
  • Secretary/Treasurer: Don Green, Director of Aviation, Abilene Regional Airport
  • Immediate Past Chair: Jesus Saenz, Director of Aviation, San Antonio International Airport

When was TCAA formed?

The Association was organized in December of 2011 by the Airport Directors and staff who felt compelled to create a Texas trade association which could assist the commercial airports around the state in collaboration and coordination of advocacy and education efforts.
